Wouter Wolf is a PhD student at Duke University’s department of developmental psychology. In the Tomasello Lab, he explores how we share psychological processes (e.g. attention, emotion, knowledge) about the world with each other, and the role this sharing of mental processes plays in social relationships. To do so, he studies the development of sharing psychological processes in young children as well as how sharing psychological processes in humans differs from sharing psychological processes in other animal species, in particular the great apes.
For his research and academic development, Wouter has been awarded a Fulbright PhD scholarship, a Duke Lafitte research grant, and a Dutch Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds Scholarship.
